[17 Nov 2008|02:00am] |
I am working on an illustration of "The Hanging Garden" and I need a photo of Robert covering his face.
Cover my face as the animals cry In the hanging garden
Do any of you have such a photo? I'd appreciate it. :)

I have much less hair than I did when today began. All I can say is that Asian haircutters in Dublin are terrifying and fascinating to watch. It's like they're kneading bread, only it's you hair... and there are scissors. And it's much more violent.
Anyway, I want to go back and watch that man (who had on a tight cardigan and was rocking a two tone feathery page boy haircut) cut more hair. Also their shampoo smells delicious.
The only nice thing about living this close to city centre is that three-block Chinatown.
I'm going to dye it, then maybe post pictures of the whole thing. For now, you get a teaser shot of it in a ponytail and me looking like an asshat.

Tomorrow we dine on Indian food (I swear to god it's going to happen this time)! Also yay!
Nate Ruess' new haircut is cute! SteelTrain Jack's is, like, cuter! Yay!

a guy i work with (who i may or may not find incredibly funny, charming, and cute) just off handed said he 'wanted me' ill break it down for you.
tyson walks past mike. mike:did you just touch my butt? me: yes he did! tyson:what? mike: for real, did you just touch my butt tyson:*laughs* nooooo me: *gleefully* date him! tyson: *walking away and laughing* mike: i want you and you want me to have him. its a circle, its not going to work me:*ignoring previous statement* date him!
see, i dont know what to take of things like that cuz i just block them out usually. but tyson did mention late week that he thought mike liked me. but i doubt it actually. i see the girls hes dated before. i look nothing like them.
but anyway. i just wanted to get that out. he was probably joking but yeah.
also, im not getting cocky or anything but i think a kid in my class likes me. he seems to be trying to talk to me more and i hear little snippets of conversation sometimes when im walking past him. like on monday on my way to the print lab he was on the phone and i walked past him and he was laughing and said something about a crush and then i was walking up the stairs and i heard him say "she just walked past me" and then more laughing and then "its not even like that, shut up". and today i saw him on my way to math and he was pretty persistant on walking with me to math since we have the same class and when we get into class he gets all secretive with this girl i guess hes good friends with and they start whispering and then hes like wait lets go outside incase anybody knows her (which i took as , in case she hears) and people were coming in and out of the class so i heard a little bit of something along the lines of "i walked here with her today"
i dont know what to think of that either!
i still like tyson. a lot. like, a lot a lot. but i think mike is really charming and funny and cute. he has A LOT of emotional baggage and past though. but hes really cool. the kid in my class, im not gonna state his name yet, hes really cool. he likes the smiths and reads chuck palahniuk. so thats awesome. and hes funny. we have a little inside joke about me being black and him saying racist things in large crowds and me acting offended and saying 'its because im black' or him just doing anything and me saying 'its because im black' he also just randomly told me he thinks im awesome today in class. so idk. im not getting hopefully about it thought.
life man. life.

pops was talking about local poll results and mentioned that illinois voted for no constitutional convention. he started chanting "no constitutional convention! no constitutional convention!", realized it was too long, then shortened it to "no con-con! no con-con!" and where did my mind go?
 KON KON!
also, that arashi secret i mentioned a while ago is becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy, i think. i'm sort of getting into them, actually. i've actually only heard one song of theirs - that one whose music video has them dancing on/with rainbows. but just like with kat-tun, i've started watching tv show appearances and reading member blogs and such. the lulz are always the best way to get interested in new people. always.
